Save Time and Get the Best Photos
When you’re traveling to a new location for photography, you’ll want to save time and get the best photos. Since you don’t know the area, you may waste time trying to find the best places. When this is the case, it’s worth it to hire a photography tour guide. Guides are familiar with the area and already know the best places. This means you’ll have more time to enjoy the area too. By hiring a guide on my recent trip to Beaufort, I had time to enjoy the area and write a story. Read more at “Lowcountry Photography and a little Civil War History.”
“Spend More Time Shooting and Less Time Seaching”.
This quote comes from Don and Ruth at Beaufort Photography Tours, and they mean it! For instance, I asked them to take me to the best locations for sunrise, sunset, nature scenes, and astrophotography. They did this and so much more! Their knowledge of the area and experience with photography helped me save time, find the best locations, and get the best photos. Meanwhile, I had more free time to experience the area myself.
Actually, the tour in Beaufort, S.C. was my second experience with a photography tour. First, there was the tour to the Kingdom of Jordan, with Great Escape Publishing. Read about that experience at “Learning Photography with the Professionals – Expedition to Jordan“. The experience in Jordan inspired me to search for more. And, that’s how I found Don and Ruth.
In fact, my next photography adventure is coming up next month. I’ll be in Tampa, Florida with Kathi at Tampa Bay Photography Tours.
Mastery of the camera is just as important as location. On both photography tours, I learned more about composition and settings. This is especially helpful for a beginner like me.
Above all, the experience of travel is the main goal, especially for a travel writer. Writing and photography bring a fresh way of looking at the world. For instance, learning the distinctive behaviors of the ibis in my featured image.
With practice, photography skills improve but there’s always room for more. After all, learning is a process. And, that’s just one more benefit of hiring a photography tour guide. Having help keeps you motivated and using your camera more.
After all, when you’re with a photography guide, you’re sure to save time and get the best photos. Here are just a few examples of my enjoyable photography experience with Don and Ruth at Beaufort Photography Tours.
